Memorial gardens are an innovative way to remember someone you care deeply for. They are not only beautiful but they are so full of life that it gives people a sense of encouragement.
If you know someone that is struggling with the death of a family member or friend, then consider suggesting a special tribute like a garden that is created just for their loved one.
We were excited to hear of an inspiring story that honored a brave young man. Alvechurch Middle School set up a Mosaic Garden in memory of Finlay Church who died of a brain tumor. His family struggled to keep up with the money to give him the best care. They were able to keep things afloat by fundraisers and generous people that gave them support.
People that cared for Finlay Church gave so many teddy bears to him that he broke the Guinness World Record with a total of 15,534 bears.
Finlay’s Memorial Garden
Jackie Nash, a local artist, decided to create her own tribute for Finlay. Her efforts took off and a memorial garden in his honor was the result.
Finlay’s mom was deeply moved and appreciated the work that was done to remember her son. Children and teachers from his school got involved and the memorial garden was absolutely beautiful.
Phoenix Memorial Gardens would love to assist you if plan to create a memorial garden for your loved one. We’d love to help you through your difficult time and give you some encouragement.
